Navya Desai is a rising sophomore at The Hockaday School. Fueled by a passion for merging creativity with STEM, She is an aspiring doctor, eager to pursue as many scientific opportunities as she can. Involved with HOSA for future medical professionals, Model United Nations, and the Perot Museum volunteer community, Navya’s extracurriculars thoroughly reflect her interest in medicine and science. Furthermore, Navya is heavily involved in the performing arts, pursuing musical theatre and classical voice. Her background in the arts motivates her to find connections between the arts and the sciences through music therapy and research to prevent Alzheimer’s and dementia through music.
